its amazing how a whisper from a king can change man

i did not foresee this
im lost for words
maybe i thought too highly of myself

i've fallen from grace

at this very moment
i am overwhelmed with
regret, anger and bitterness
i no longer have a fighting spirit
and have no will to breathe

the price i pay for loss of control

a kingdom of conscience
